In a world filled with industries, technology and machines that replace hand labor, there is a hidden world in my country, a world where working hands and the ancient wisdom still prevails and is kept alive.
Our mission is to show the world that hidden labor, the ART our craftsmen have in their hands, where each hat is an artistic expression different from the last, all woven with knowledge passed down from generation to generation.
MAKI, a word from the Quechua dialect, ancient language of our indigenous culture, which means HANDMADE ART.
There are three pillars that support us
FAIR TRADE, SLOW FASHION AND NATURE
Nature because we care! All our products are made from sustainable materials and we reinvest in nature to continue producing.
Slow fashion is a global movement that encourages the conscious consumption, encourages education by knowing mora about where our clothing comes from, what it takes to make and the environmental impact. It values the quality, replacing the mass market concept and preserves our culture which is what we take to the world.
Fair trade because we guarantee the well-being of our craftsmen with fair prices, so that this art is maintained and it can show the world our precious crafts.
